How Solar Works
Solar Panels are really the element silicon enclosed in glass. When the sun hits the silicon it creates an electron raw electricity.
The raw electricity is Direct Current (DC). The inverter takes this energy and converts it into Alternating Current (AC), which is what your home uses.
The electricity flows through the meter. Excess energy during the day goes out to the grid, then during the night energy comes from the grid. This process is called metering.
Your home is now running on cleaner, cheaper, greener energy. You've locked in your rates and you have peace of mind knowing what you'll be paying in the future.
